Inspired by Wolf Kahn's landscapes, we simplified shapes and brightened non-local colors to create these beautiful, pastel landscapes.
Self Portraits
We have been learning about Chuck Close, grid drawing, proportion, value and creating emphasis in a work of art. Several students have completed the project, and their wonderful self-portraits are below. I will post more as they complete them.
Fall classes begin on August 29th. I'm looking forward to another fun term of creativity. Below are some photographs from last spring's Family Night Art Show.
