Tis' the season to paint . . .

Come catch the holiday spirit by painting a joyful bird in the colors of Christmas.  We will provide all materials, art instruction, loads of encouragement and numerous options so you can express your unique gifts and creativity.  Everyone is welcome, and no previous painting experience is required.  Please share this information with your friends.
 
Praise Painting with the 2 Art Donnas
November 22nd, 7:00-9:00 pm
The Praise Center, Monroe
$25 per person

If you can't join us on the 22nd, no worries.  We will bring the class to you.  You can schedule a painting party at your home, church or other location.  If there are at least 10 participants, the hostess paints for free.

Friday night's painting workshop was wonderful.  Thanks to everyone who attended and to the Praise Center for allowing us to use their building.  The fellowship was great, and I love all the paintings.

I have some exciting news.  Donna Coffman and I are offering a ladies painting workshop on October 11th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Praise Center in Monroe.  All ladies are welcome to join the fun, and no experience is necessary.  Come and enjoy fellowship, learn painting techniques and create a wonderful work of art in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Summer Art Camp

June 18th-20th, 9:00 am -12:00 pm

at the Praise Center,  Monroe, GA

Cost:  $60 per student for all three days (supplies are included in the cost)

Art skills, art vocabulary and art history are taught with each project, and at the end of each camp day, every student leaves with their own masterpiece.

Thanks for checking out the new blog.  January was a busy and fun month in art.  Summit students worked on radial designs, and Tuesday afternoon students explored portraiture.  To see examples of their work, please click on the appropriate tab above.
