It is time for another Praise Painting workshop, and in this workshop, we are using mixed media!  I hope you can join us on March 28th at the Praise Center from 6:30-9:00.  We will be painting whimsical houses and using Joshua 24:15 as our verse.  As always, we will provide a variety of materials and lots of options; so, everyone can create a painting that they love and that is uniquely their own.  Everyone is invited.  Please tell your friends.  The cost is $25 and includes all supplies.  Just email me to reserve your spot.

February Praise Painting Workshop

The February Praise Painting Workshop was so much fun.  Thanks to all the wonderful ladies who attended.  I enjoyed painting with you, and I love everyone's paintings.

Since it has been such a cold winter, let's paint something to warm us up!  Please join us February 28th as we paint coffee (or tea) cups and explore new painting techniques.  We will provide all materials, art instruction, and lots of encouragement.  You will have numerous options, including choice of cup style and colors, so you can create a work of art to match any decor and to express your unique creativity.  The class is $25, and everyone is invited.  Please share this information with others, and bring your friends. Praise Painting with the 2 Art Donnas

We've finished the book covers and sewn the folios to them.  Students are now adding embellishments and designing enclosures.  Below are a few books that are finished or near completion.  I love the uniqueness of each one!  All students should complete this project next week, and I will post more photos then.  I just couldn't wait to show you a few of them now.

Summit classes resumed yesterday,  and we are off to a wonderful, creative, colorful and messy start.  On our first day, we reviewed color theory and explored Abstract Expressionism, by dripping, splattering and dropping paint onto canvas.  Look at the wonderful colors!!!!!!  We will be using these canvases as book covers for this term's sketchbooks.

Tis' the season to paint . . .

Come catch the holiday spirit by painting a joyful bird in the colors of Christmas.  We will provide all materials, art instruction, loads of encouragement and numerous options so you can express your unique gifts and creativity.  Everyone is welcome, and no previous painting experience is required.  Please share this information with your friends.

If you can't join us on the 22nd, no worries.  We will bring the class to you.  You can schedule a painting party at your home, church or other location.  If there are at least 10 participants, the hostess paints for free.

Friday night's painting workshop was wonderful.  Thanks to everyone who attended and to the Praise Center for allowing us to use their building.  The fellowship was great, and I love all the paintings.
